Guitar burning

Why would I want to burn this guitar???? I received this guitar from a friend of mine, he came across it from a junk
haul out he did a few months ago. It was an old Yamaha entry level acoustic guitar with a REALLY cheap case. The only problem was that it had a missing tuner, and the neck was cracked just below the headstock. So, since it was going to cost more to repair the guitar I came to the only conclusion I could, sacrifice this guitar to the fire pit gods at the Birdsview Brewing Company!
